Hi, I’m Alison Rochford. I provide fractional strategic communications services for nonprofit organizations.

I started my career in journalism, and thoroughly enjoyed serving as editor-in-chief and designer of several print and digital publications. A few years ago, my focus shifted from journalism to activism. I got involved with nonprofit organizations that supported Ukraine and its people during Russia’s full-scale invasion (and even learned Ukrainian along the way). I freelanced with various media, marketing, and publishing companies, as well as B2B clients to fund my activism, and continued to hone my communications skills.

My work as an activist and the connections I have made have allowed me to apply my communications background to various nonprofit organizations both in the United States and Ukraine.

Now, I offer comprehensive communications services for nonprofit organizations that need specialized guidance without the cost of a full-time hire. When I am not helping mission-driven organizations maximize their impact with communications strategy, I serve as the Massachusetts state delegation leader for the American Coalition for Ukraine, leading teams of advocates on Capitol Hill several times per year.
